Chilled it to about 9°C and it poured with a nice, persistent fizz that honestly fooled me for a second. The 24 kcal per 100 ml means I can have a glass (or two) on a weeknight without the guilt, and the grape character from Toledo comes through cleanly.
We were skeptical about a zero-proof bubbly, but this espumante with its fine, persistent fizz and crisp finish genuinely worked for our dry January dinner. At just 24 kcal per 100 ml, I could sip two glasses without the guilt—it's the closest thing to a real cava I've found.
Chilled it to 9°C and poured it for a toast—the bubbles are surprisingly fine and it tastes like a proper sparkling wine without the head rush. It's got real grape character from Toledo, and at 24 calories per 100 ml, I didn't feel guilty having a second glass.
